FAQs

How do I wet mold my holster?

To create your own molded holster formed to your handgun:

1. Simply open up the holster as if you were to insert a handgun and run hot (not boiling) tap water primarily on the inside for about 30 seconds. (You will only need approximately 16oz of water.)

2. Place your handgun in a small watertight plastic bag, this will protect it from the moisture.

3. Insert the bagged handgun (make sure your handgun is unloaded) into the holster.

4. Using your fingers mold the holster to the contour of your handgun. Keep the bagged handgun in the holster for 30minutes.

5. After 30 minutes remove the handgun, discard the bag and place the handgun back in your safe.

6. Let the holster dry at room temperature for 8-12 hours or until completely dry. DO NOT DRY WITH A HAIR DRYER OR IN THE OVEN!

Your holster is now molded to fit and ready to use.

You can also use a vacuum sealer to molder your holster. This will allow for a more contoured holster.

1. Simply open up the holster as if you were to insert a handgun and run hot (not boiling) tap water primarily on the inside for about 30 seconds.

2. Place your handgun in a small watertight plastic bag, this will protect it from the moisture.

3. Insert the bagged handgun (make sure your handgun is unloaded) into the holster.

4. Insert the bagged handgun, which is now in the holster, into a vacuum seal bag.

5. Place your vacuum sealer on either a wet or extended suction mode and vacuum seal. You will see that the bag compresses the holster around the gun.

6. Keep the handgun in the vacuum seal bag for about 1 hour.

7. After 1 hour remove the handgun, discard both bags and place the handgun back in your safe.  Note: Because of the pressure of the vacuum sealer you may notice a small amount of condensation on the gun, therefore you may need to clean your gun before returning it to the safe.

8. Let the holster dry at room temperature for 8-12 hours or until completely dry.  DO NOT DRY WITH A HAIR DRYER OR IN THE OVEN!

How do I change my Shoulder Holster from horizontal carry to vertical carry?

In order to switch your shoulder holster from horizontal to vertical, follow these steps. It is easiest to adjust your holster while it is either on someone else or it is laid loosely over your shoulder, without a gun. Your holster has 4 holes, see the first picture in the diagram above (the number 3 hole is actually on both sides of the holster).

Undo the strap from hole number 1 and move it to the number 3 hole. You will loop it through from the back of the holster (the side against your body). You will loop it through from the outside of the holster to the inside of the holster and back up to the plastic slide. Your holster should look like the picture in the center above.

Next, undo the number 2 strap and move it up to the number 1 hole. You will put the strap through from the inside of the holster to the outside and then up to the plastic slide. When you have complete the switch your holster will look like the last picture above.

How do I change my Shoulder Holster from right hand to left hand?

In order to switch your shoulder holster from right hand to left hand, follow these steps. It is easiest to adjust your holster while it is either on someone else or it is laid loosely over your shoulder, without a gun. Remove all the straps and hardware from the holster. The longer, more narrow side of the shoulder pad will be facing front. Lay the strap over your right shoulder and replace the plastic slides.

With the straps laying over your shoulder, take the strap in the front of your body and put it through the number 1 hole, from the outside of the holster to the inside and back up to the plastic slide. Your holster will look like the center picture above.

Next, take the strap on the back side of your body and run it through the number 2 slot from the outside of the holster to the inside of the holster and then back up to the plastic slider. When you have complete the switch your holster will look like the last picture above.

How do I measure my gun for my custom Scoped Holster?

In order to make a custom scoped holster, we need 3 measurements from your gun.  The height of your gun/scope combination, the length of the scope and the distance between the end of the scope and the end of the barrel.  Only the height of your gun/scope combination will be measured differently for revolvers and semi-automatics; the other two measurements are taken the same way.

For Revolvers:

The first measurement is the overall height of your gun and scope.  This is taken from the frame in front of the trigger guard to the highest part of the scope.

The second measurement is the total length of your scope.

The third measurement is the length between the front of the scope to the end of the barrel.

For Semi-Autos:

The second and third measurements are the same as the revolver, however, the first measurement varies slightly.  The first measurement is the overall height of your gun and scope.  This measurement is taken from under the trigger guard to the highest part of the scope.

The second measurement is the total length of your scope.

The third measurement is the length between the front of the scope to the end of the barrel.
